The Wishing Spell Series

I’m really glad that I picked this series book to read. While reading this book my imagination runs with it and I feel as if I’m in another world. The reason why I think I really like this book is because I can connect with the show I like to watch, Once Upon a Time. While I read this the characters from that show come into my head as if I’m watching the show. But the kids in this book make it so interesting to keep reading because they both have very different personalities which comes out in the book. Having them be twins and being on this adventure together makes it worth wild to read. I never know what their big adventure will be next which makes me want to read more. I honestly  don’t dislike this book, there is always an adventure on the next page.

I think students in middle school would like this book and whoever is interested in fairy tales. This book gives a different look on fairy tales that people don’t normally grow up with which for me made it more interesting to read. The way I would use this book in a classroom is have different activities of students creating their own ending to a fairy tale that they know. It can also be a book to be able to talk with their peers to see how they are feeling about the book, if they look it or if they don’t.
