Session 3 (March 10)
Welcome to Wednesday, March 10
A plan:
- We’ll start with writing: updates on our courses, particularly thinking about students’ participation. Share in our Currents Community OR write in whatever mode works for you (pen and paper…fabulous technology).
- Did you trace/notice who participates in your class sessions? Who seems to be inside/outside the class community? Any thoughts about what is working and what could be better in terms of participation?
- Did you try out a new activity or assignment? How did it go?
- Did you survey students about what was working? What did you learn?
- Link to slides: we’ll curate ideas together. Teams crowdsource structures, activities, roles to increase student participation.
- Back together: share out ideas
- Prep for consultation sessions after break. Week of March 29: try to find 1 hour.
