Welcome back to spring 2015!

I look forward to working with you all this semester.

On this site, you will find the course materials: syllabus, assignments, readings, and calendar. Feel free to poke around and see what’s here. You’ll also want to Register/Join our site: you should see this area on the left side of the main page. We’ll be doing some blogging and sharing of resources here this semester.

Just one book to purchase: Jane McGonigal’s Reality is Broken. I did not place an order through the bookstore; you can order through your book site of choice. All other readings are available as pdfs or links. In the second half of the semester, we’ll be reading in game theory as we design a writing experience for incoming freshmen.

We’ll talk about internships on day one. You have a lot of options in English 30, 30E, or the ESL Resource Center. We’ll make sure something works with your schedule. No worries.
