Back When I WAS a Wild Reader…

Back When I WAS a Wild Reader…

I like that the author mentions having a book with you at all times because when you aren’t super attached to a book and wanting to read it every chance you get, you do not realize how many of those chances you actually have… Everyone always says how they are too busy to read or too busy to do anything really. Well, we all know that is not true; if we were too busy to read or do anything else that seems maybe a tad boring or just not top on our list then we would not have time to text or check snap chat or check instagram or browse facebook or pinterest or any other time-wasting completely random electronic site, app or widget.

The fact that people are always too busy to read is ridiculous to me.

I used to be one of those “I don’t have time to read” people…. that is until I found this book and fell in love with reading. I became a wild reader when I read the first chapter (well two actually; it is a perspective book written where each chapter bounces back and forth between the two main characters and their perspectives throughout the story) of it.

If it weren’t for me stumbling upon this book, I probably would not have had any interest in finding books that I enjoyed reading.

All this being said, I like the point that the book makes that there are individuals (you know who you are) that make reading a daily thing. I used to do this and wish/plan/may try to make this another habit in my life. I remember loving reading and can’t wait to find those books that just make me want to stop life all together and fall into the land I am reading of and see it with my own two eyes….
