Cinderella Riddle

All I want is a night with the prince,

but all of these lentils are just making me wince.

 

Thank god for the hazel tree for granting my wish,

my slippers are perfect, no need to squish.

 

It seems as though I lost one along the way,

the prince has been searching for me all day.

 

My step-sisters want to steal my man,

too bad they don’t know that’s not in the plan.

 

They can cut off their toes, or even a heel,

that prince is mine, I’m being foreal.
