William poem Hernandez

I believe that through out this poem William is trying to tell us about the importance of the red wheel barrow. He shows in the poem that so much depends on this red wheel barrow. He also says that the Barrow is next to chickens and that its full of rain water therefore, i believe its somewhere outside in a farm. This leads me to believe that he lives in a farm and the barrow is important because he uses it everyday for work.
