Rosalie M, Fahrenheit 451 and The Lying Game

Rosalie M, Fahrenheit 451 and The Lying Game

Hi Jeanie, so this week I read Fahrenheit 451  and The Lying Game. This is probably the fifth or sixth time I’ve read it, because I’ve read it once or twice every year since fifth grade. Ray Bradbury is an amazing author, his metaphors, views, and the way he words his point is beautiful. When Montag describes the machine that saves his wife after her overdose as a snake, it drew great connections. Fahrenheit 451  is one of my favorite books.

The Lying Game was a little cliche. The long- lost twin thing was something I couldn’t really get into if it wasn’t for the mystery and lies. I feel like it was good enough for me to read the second book, but only because I want to find what happens with discovering the murder case. I’d love to hear how you’re finding the book you’re reading!

  1. Hi Rosalie , you have read that book that many times? You should go on line and look up similare books that expand your library :) I have read books over before but no more then twice really. I’m glade you are enjoying the books so much thow. Like my parents would tell me when I was growing up, “reading is power” . And it really is. I believe it is the most important subject there is a person could learn. At any rate I’m proved your such a strong reader. One if the breeks I just finished reading on my own time was Frankenstein by Marie kelly. It’s an older book but very interesting and I also have it in audio book so I like to listen to books while I drive.
