I am very nervous to teach reading to children. One of my biggest fear is that I will not be able to teach them the true meanings of readings because I may not know them myself. It will be super interesting to see the many ideas and feelings that the children acquire while reading different texts. I truly believe that seeing how different people’s mind construct different ideas is one of the neatest things. I believe that after this course and after working with the 8th graders that I will be able to overcome my fear of teaching reading to children.
