Introduction to Leslie

Dear Leslie,

I am so excited to get to read these books with you! My name is Drew, and I’d hope you’d get to know me better like I got to through your blog. I was born in Santa Cruz but moved to Chico before I was even one so I don’t remember much of my beach days, but I love traveling there with my family to get a taste of paradise. I love golfing and have since I was about five. I also enjoy playing basketball and for fun football with my friends once in a while. I also play my fair share of video games and watch a pretty good amount of TV as well. When it comes to books I’ve always chose what ways either popular at the time or a movie is coming out based off a book. My favorite author so far has been Marie Lu and her Legend  series. Oh about that I’ve already read Legend  so if you’d like to read Legend  I’d be happy to again or you can chose another book based off Kim’s list. Whatever works for you and I’m sorry for the inconvienence. Can’t  wait to start reading with you!

  1. Hi Drew!
I’m stoked to be reading the books you and Max have chosen as well! They all seem so interesting! Don’t worry about reading “Legend” again, it’s definitely not an inconvenience. I can only afford so many books a semester and this just saves me money, so I really should be thanking you! If you do want another book to read together you are more than welcome to join in on reading “Mango Shaped Space” with Max and I!
That’s awesome that you’re passionate about golfing! I envy people who can put well. I tried golfing when I was younger, but softball was more my thing… well actually soccer is my main sport, but I generally enjoy playing all sports.
I have a tendency to choose books that are popular as well. I read the entire “Twilight” series in middle school (unfortunately), although I much prefer the “Divergent” and “Hunger Games” series over what I personally considered as an overrated love-triangle. Currently, my favorite author is Jodi Picoult. She writes fiction novels that often involve heavy court cases such as school massacres, assault cases, and highly disabled persons to name a few. Talk to you soon!

    Sincerely,
    Leslie Eigle
