- In this poem Williams sees the lifestyle of the working class person who uses a wheel barrow to get his work done. He sees the hard work that is put into it every day no matter the weather circumstances. The wheel barrow might represent hope, he might depend on it to do all his work on the farm. Sometimes simple things can mean so much to us.
