I’m sure I overlooked it in the reading or something, but what I wonder is:

Why do we have to try to “fix” things like writing centers to morph them into multiliteracy centers? Why can’t we just make a multiliteracy center from scratch?

I know they like the word “writing,” but that doesn’t mean we must refurbish an old system. The old system can remain it’s old beautiful self, and will certainly still serve its purpose. Maybe it can become a department of the bigger system of literacy…Angel Morgan

Although I couldn’t access the actual article, the title is interesting…like maybe the purpose of these classes is to teach information literacy.
