Gus D: Divergent

Hello again! Still reading Divergent and I’am about halfway through. I’am at the part were they are having the paintball sorta game. This is probably my favorite part of the book. Mostly because it sounds the most fun. I have been paint balling before and was actually pretty decent at it. I totally got shot a ton but not as much as I thought I would. This probably why they focused a lot more on the paintball scene in the movie more than the book. And also it says the the paintball bullets simulated being actually shot. That’s not really good idea if you think about. First of all, why? Does getting shot build up endurance getting shot again? No. Not how it works. And if it simulates getting shot then what happens if you get shot in the head? Do they have simulations of death? If so, how do they know what happens when you die? And what happens if you get shot in the head in a high place and fall? I mean I know Dauntless is brutal and all but if that happens to everyone then what? Do they have to wait till next year to get new people? Just a all around bad idea. Alrighty then. See ya later.
