Jade G, The Chocolate War and If I Stay

Jade G, The Chocolate War and If I Stay

Hello,

After about 85 pages of “The Chocolate War”, I couldn’t continue on. I just wasn’t really interested in the book so I put it down. Instead of “The Chocolate War” I am reading the book “If I Stay”. I chose to read this book because it wad recommended to me by so many people. Also I wanted to read the book before watching the movie. I’m so excited to be reading this book.

So far I’m a little bit past the accident. It is so sad, but it’s written so well. I love how there aren’t so much chapters, but different entries. It’s not like a diary though and that’s good because well for most of the book she’s in a comatose state. It’s more just like things that are happening in a certain time period.

I’m so excited to be reading “If I Stay”, and I hope that you’re having a great time with your reading too!

-Jade G.

  1. Hello Jade!
I just recently decided to put “The Chocolate War” down and I will be start “Divergent” tomorrow. I don’t feel that this book was right for me but I do feel that this book would be a great book for a boy to read. They might be able to connect to this book in a way that I couldn’t. I am looking forward to starting Divergent and I am looking forward to hearing more about “If I Stay”
