Austin M. Maze Runner

Austin M. Maze Runner

Dear Alyssa,

A few days ago I finished Maze Runner. I thought it was a great book, but it wasn’t my favorite out of the other two I have read. You were right about how it continuously makes you question things. That element of the book makes it much more interesting to read and that much harder to put it down.

My first big question in the book that really hooked me was who put all of the kids in the maze. That also sparked another thought. Where was this maze and how far in the future is this book based in. There is always a reason that makes you want to keep reading. My favorite part of the book is when Thomas risks his own life to save Minho and Alby because it gives us an idea of what Thomas is really like and that he has the ability to be a runner.

My favorite character in the book is Minho because of how much trust he puts in Thomas to help get them out of the maze. What really surprises me about Minho is how brave he is and how he would be willing to give his life just to get a hint on how to solve the maze. I can’t wait to see how the character Minho is in the movie and find out if he has the same personality.

I was also wondering what book you are reading and if you have read more than one, which one have you liked the most so far. Im not sure what book I will be reading next but whatever it is I cant wait to get started with it and blog about it!

Austin
