Paper Towns – Emma L.

Paper Towns – Emma L.

Hi again Ashleigh, I’m just under half way through Paper Towns and I’m very curious to see if Q goes after Margo to New York.

Q just found out that Margo went missing and his response to it was pretty reasonable. I really like that every day he would look at her window to see if she had returned yet, because he cares so much about her. He has so far interpreted the clues very well and I’m excited to see where they take him.

John Green is very descriptive in his writing and he can make you feel a bunch of different emotions all at once, including the characters emotions. I want to just go into the book and help Q find all of the clues and help him find Margo. I hope that he finds her in time, to change her mind and possibly fix her broken strings

I am really looking forward to the rest of the book, so I can find out what happens to the semi-relationship between Margo and Q. This is a book that I will definitely be coming back to, because I really love the plot and the way everything plays out and because I can picture everything so easily with this book. I also will come back to it because I can relate to Margo in a few ways right now, and I want to see if I still relate to them a couple years down the road. I’m very happy that this was one of my project books, it’s now in my top ten of favorite books.

I hope you’re doing well and enjoying the project.

  1. Dang! After reading your posts I am so excited to start reading Paper Towns. You better not give too much away from it though!

Right now I am reading A Mango Shaped Space and I am loving it! I totally would recommend it.

Basically it is about a young girl who has a disease called synesthesia that causes her to associate colors with numbers and also sounds. For example whenever she hears a door slam she sees brown rings.

I normally wouldn’t pick up a book like this but I am so glad that I did. I love watching the main character develop and deal with her life problems.
