Jake H., The Absolutely True Diary of a Part-Time Indian

Jake H., The Absolutely True Diary of a Part-Time Indian

So, I finished The Fault in Our Stars and it was better than I thought it was going to be. I liked how the last couple of sentences are only a couple of words, but I won’t say them because I don’t want to spoil anything for anyone who is reading it now. Anyway, I have now moved on to The Absolutely True Diary of a Part-Time Indian. Sorry this post is so late, but I am just over half way into the book, and it has been really great! I didn’t know what to expect when I read this, but it has a very motivational story line. Let me know how far into this book, or if you have moved onto Ready Player One.

I think that I am going to like this book a lot! It is a short book, so I should be able to finish the three books on time without a problem. I am especially excited for Ready Player One because it’s about games, which I like.

  1. Hey Jake I am so glad you like the ending of Fault in Our Stars. You said you liked the last few lines, but what was one of your favorite quotes throughout the whole book? I finished The Absolutely True Diary of a Part-Time Indian, it was so different then what I was expecting. However, I really enjoyed it. I felt like it was encouraging and uplifting the whole time. What parts of this book have surprised you so far?
