Aaron H: Ready Player One

Aaron H: Ready Player One

Wow I literally just started reading this book and I can’t stop. Just the idea of almost everyone making the OASIS a part of their daily life is mind boggling. When I read the book it kind of puts me in the setting of Divergent. And also for me I thought the how he told James Halliday’s video. It was like I was watching his video on youtube or something. The video also gave me a more personal side to James Halliday. Honestly for me I really want to play the OASIS, but I would probably get way to addicted to the game though. This book for me has really gotten me back into reading because I wouldn’t call my self a crazy book person. Comment back to this and tell me what your thinking about this book!

  1. I agree Aaron I would play Oasis for sure. I would be a total addict. I am not a huge book person either but these Alternate societal books are so cool. When I was your age I read The Giver. It is in a different society as well. These books are so cool because it could actually happen. At the rate video games are developing I wouldn’t doubt it could happen. I was talking to Django about how Wade Gets bullied. What do you think about that, their so advanced, and yet they are still having to deal with bullying.

  2. Ready Player One shows a dystopian future. Do you see any parts of the book as coming true? If bullying is still going on what else do you think from our society will still remain? Football is there as well. What would you like to see still, or what product would you like to see improved by then? I phone 20?
