Introduction to Hailey
Hi there, my name is Olivia C. I am 12 years old and I love to read. I am not a crazy fast reader or one who reads every second of every day, but I enjoy reading books and jumping into a new story. I also enjoy ballet, drawing, and playing clarinet in my free time.
As a reader my favorite genre is historical fiction. It’s hard to narrow down my favorite book, but one of the many is The Secret Life of Bees.
I am excited to start reading my books with you. It will be nice to read and have someone to share the ideas of the books with. I am starting with the book Counting by 7s. I hope to here from you soon.

Hi Olivia! I am not the fastest reader either but I do like reading when I find a good book. I have tried to draw but most of my “artwork” ends up being a mess, some people have a wonderful talent and it is safe to say I am not one of those people. I just doodle for fun now. I have never played an instrument but wish I would have learned. I am looking forward to reading the books with you and I am starting with Counting by 7s also. I am also excited that you decided to read My Brother Sam is Dead because I read this book when I was in 8th grade and it will be fun to reread and discuss it with you! Hope to hear from you soon!
