Final Blog Post

As I look back over this semester it amazes me how much reading I have done. I am currently in two English classes so I have done my fair share of reading this semester. However in Engl 341 there was not one thing I didn’t mind reading. Especially the Divergent series, they were amazing. One book I was not very avid on reading was probably “Reading in the Wild.” It was hard for me to read two books at once for this class, and usually the other books assigned was a little bit more interesting. As I’ve been working on my website I am realizing the great tools for teaching this class has taught me. I am now so much more tech savvy and have discovered so much more about education by being connected through twitter, pinterest, blog posts, etc. I have now learned to think more outside the box when it comes to education, not just by the book. I have also learned that collaboration is a major part of this career. Over all this class was such a joy to come to, there is not one thing I would change about it. I enjoyed all of the readings and enjoyed coming to class. When I had to miss I was genuinely upset that I had to miss. Thank you so much Kim for an amazing semester and for being such an awesome teacher. Have a great summer!
