Elicia S., Maze Runner
Dear Riley,
I haven’t got that far in the book but, so far I really like it. I recently saw the movie but I did’t know I was going to see it. When the movie first started it was exactly like the book almost word for word.
My favorite character is Chuck. I really like him because he is the youngest and he cares for all of them and is just really sweet. It was sad to know that he had that little wood monkey that his parents gave to him and when Thomas was in the pit he said give it to my parents if you ever see them. That made me sad because I can kind of relate to that because I don’t have a dad and I’m sure I have stuff from him that I don’t know about.
One of my favorite parts was when Thomas and some of the other guys ripped apart the griever and found the tracker and then found the way out. The grievers were really scary and were very realistic to what they were described as in the movie.
I know that you said you don’t like movies but I think you would really like this because it stays very true to the book. If you ever see the movie let me know because I really think you would like it.

Introduction to Riley
Hi Riley! My name is Elicia but some people call me leash. On my free time I love to play basketball it is my favorite sport and I play on a traveling team. The books I chose are Maze Runner, Wonder, and Legend. I chose these books because I have read books that are similar to them and they seemed really good! I hope to become a better reader. My favorite books are the Percy Jackson and Heros of Olympus series. I don’t really have a favorite genre I usually just pick books that have been recommended to me or if I want to see the movie. I hope this project is great and that we have a good time and we get to know each other!
