Craig C., Legend

Craig C., Legend

I’m almost done with Legend.  I really like it so far. It’s been very exciting with lots of action and drama. There have been sad parts and happy parts in the book. Right now the book is in a lull, but the tension is starting to build up again as day’s criminal sentence comes near. I’ve really been enjoying this book and I will be disappointed when this book comes to an end. As I was reading this book I was wondering what I would do if I was  in Day’s or June’s place and what I would do if  I was in their situation. So far this book is very captivating and entertaining to read.

I just started legend. I really like it I just thought it was going to be to be a book just like the Hunger Games. It was actually  better than I thought in the Hunger Games  the author is less descriptive on what cities the districts are , but in Legend  the author mentions cities that paint a better picture of where the characters are. I really like this dystopian novel. Marie Lu really made this book a perfect realistic   description of how our world could be in due time.In my opinion I think this is the best dystopian novel out of the most popular books right now

Craig C, Woods Runner

Craig C, Woods Runner

I just finished Woods Runner by Gary Paulsen . I really loved it. The way Gary Paulsen writes makes you feel like you’re there experiencing every thing with the character. I could connect with the book because Samuel is almost the same age as me. The way Woods Runner is written gives you a little history lesson on each page. The novel really gave a good look into the everyday life of a teenage frontiersmen in colonial times. Every twist and turn made me want to read more.

This book was interesting because I have never read a book about frontiersmen during the Revolutionary War. The perspective from Samuel’s view instead of an adult makes it have a interesting plot line. From start to finish this book is great.
