I chose to recreate the painting Mia painted in the book. But I changed the painting a little bit; in the book her painting is in black and white but to show her disease I chose to paint in mango colors.

You’re book sounds interesting. I’m not really a war book fan at all but that’s awesome you’ve been reading it even though you aren’t a fan of reading.

Right now I’m reading A Mango Shaped Space and I am really enjoying it. I’m about half way done right now but I think I would have already finished if it weren’t for midterms last week. It’s about a young girl named Mia who has a disease called synesthesia that causes her to see colors after hearing sounds or seeing letters.

 

I hope your book continues to be easy to read for you. And don’t be afraid to give more spoilers I really don’t think I will be ready it any time soon haha.

Basically the Grimm version is way more “grim” then the Disney version. Instead of happily ever after it’s more like… little girl gets poisoned by her jealous stepmother and a prince liked the way she looked so he took her coffin and by luck, not love the prince kinda saves her… Kinda.
