A Wrinkle in Time (julie martindale)

I like this series simply because it got me involved and stuck on the book instantly I was wanting to know what was going to happen next. I think an older kid maybe middle school would get the most from this book (mostly because its dealing with kids who are in all ages up to high school). it could probably get related to a science class a little just by how things are explained the different creatures how they are made and the different planets.

Kissing the Witch (Julie Martindale)

Kissing the Witch (Julie Martindale)

the  author titles her book Kissing the Witch because the last story which we believe is the one she created has the witch ask in return for a payment is a kiss from another female. the one story i liked the voice. all of these stories give meaning to woman today in some shape or form.

snow

The part were the king want snow white as a present wasn’t familiar to me at all.

what i see as a theme would be to not take what is given to you when your not entirely sure who is the person given the items.

what surprised me well the apple only has to leave her mouth and then suddenly shes fine again you would think by it being poison that it wouldn’t leave your blood stream so there for either leaving one paralized or dead.

bluebeard

bluebeard

there were no prays only sister Anne,

there wasn’t just one sister but two in the end,

there wasn’t a dream to disguise but really a reality to her dismay.
