In this tale there is no pottery.

No fish bones, no dead father, and no mother’s grave.

There are no stepsisters in this tale.

Just a twisted tale with a daughter in disguise

About me….

About me….

Hi! I’m Jenna Peters and this is my second year here at Chico State and I am loving every minute of it. I am a Liberal Studies major with a Special Education minor. I somehow got the crazy idea to graduate in three years so I am currently a junior after two years and will be graduating next spring! I am from the bay area which I think really shaped me to be the person I am. Both my parents are teachers so I have great role models in my life. I come from a huge family with lots of cousins, aunts, and uncles. One thing I love to do is be outdoors and play sports. Volleyball and soccer were both huge parts of my life growing up and they taught me a lot of values like sportsmanship and how to work hard. So far this class has already been fun so I am excited for what is to come!!!

I believe that a reader is anyone who enjoys to read. A reader can be a five year old reading picture books, or a professor who reads and analyzes the text. As a child I used to love to read. I have so many memories and favorite books that I would read as a child. Now that i’m older, I rarely read for pleasure. I wish I did but I think reading lost its fun in high school and middle school when I was forced to read books I did not like. One thing I took away from the article is that students should have choice in what they read. We talked about this in my last English class and I believe that it would have helped me a lot in school.
