I’ve organized this class around a series of “make cycles.” After the welcome week, we will work with children’s books in two week cycles, starting with fairy tales in weeks 2 and 3. Week 1 tasks linked below and in the drop down menu above.
I will add the new make cycle at the end of a cycle, so you can expect to see Make Cycle 1 released on Friday, Aug 27, Make Cycle 2 released on Sept 10 and then a new cycle shared every other week after that. They will appear in the drop down menu at the top of our course site under Makes Cycles: Weekly Work. This pacing will give us time to respond to each other’s posts too.

VERY IMPORTANT: PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE order all your books asap. I know it’s tempting to order as you go, but often students order them used and then it takes a month to get them. Please have them ordered, so they can be ready to go for the semester, by the end of the first week of our class.
