G+ Community

We will share some of our work in a Google+ Community. We will write responses to readings, upload images, respond to each other’s ideas, and share links here.

Teams FTW

Teams FTW

Hi everyone,

Here are our working teams who will support feedback on our projects. I also emailed the teams individually so that you have each other’s emails. Please stay in communication with your small, but mighty group of peers. Figure out the best way to communicate that works for you. Decide if you want to rotate feedback or create partners/trios within the small team. In these teams, you will:

  • Give at least 2 rounds of feedback on the Unit Plan
  • Swap an assignment to try out with a partner.
  • Give feedback on the Portfolio
  • Do a mock scoring session for your Portfolios
  • Check in and say “you can do this” when people need to hear that. 😉

Up first:

  • Give feedback on Unit Plans by Sunday night (12th) or Monday morning. Give feedback to 1-2 people in your team. Y’all decide how to organize that.
    • You can find each other’s Unit Plan links in G+. Leave feedback in the Google Doc
  • Swap assignments with a partner (if you have a group of five, then one trio will swap; for example, Rosie shares with Hayden, Hayden shares with Odalis, Odalis shares with Rosie). You’ll try out the “teacher’s” assignment (actually write it) and also give the teacher feedback on how things went for you: what might they change or add to make the assignment more clear?
    • You’ll post the assignment you want your partner to try in our G+ community. The “student” will share their attempt at the assignment, and their feedback, in a comment to that same post (where the assignment was shared).

Teams (might be a good idea to make someone the lead so that you’re not waiting to see who starts an email. But, anyone can start an email: you just have someone who really can pay attention to how things are going):

Reagan, Regan, Alisha, Ashlyn

Luis, Aaron, Andrew, José, Roy

Sara, Amy, Chloe, Jazz

Sophia, Courtney, Brenna, Joseph

Alyce, Kaitlin, Ellie, Morgan

Rosie, Hayden, Odalis, Dorothy, Pengcheng

Athena, Iliannah, Virginia, Brianna

Jewel, Mireya, Mari, Vall
