Week 4: Reminders
Here are your friendly reminders for week 4:
1) Introductions in G+ Community: I am so enjoying seeing your pictures and reading your introductions on our G+ Community. And thanks for responding to each other too. I appreciate an opportunity to see your interests and the people and places you care about. Thank you for sharing. If you haven’t had a chance to post yet, please do that by tonight.
2) Series Books: For tomorrow, you’ll be in new teams (see below) for your Series books. Please make sure you have your series book with you and that you have started reading it. And, if you have finished reading your series book, please bring the chapter book with you too since we’ll do some reading time in class. You’ll talk in your groups about your series books: what identities are offered to kids in these books? What are the themes?
3) Goodreads Update: Looks like everyone has joined our G+ community now (yay!), but a few of you still need to join our Goodreads group: Alondra, Jamie B, Morgan, Sierra, Taylor, Megan, Jamie L, Colleen, Sydney, Kelcy, Jodi S. Please join the group by class tomorrow because I am trying to head off any problems with joining before you have to post on the site. Thank you for your support. 😉
4) Featured Bloggers: Alison, Kara, Jorden, Savannah, Colleen, and Kim will be taking some good notes about our class discussions over the next two weeks. I’ll check in with y’all tomorrow. Here’s the link to the assignment page. Under the featured blogger assignment, you’ll see a link to examples.
