Rosalie M, Butter and Drums, Girls and Dangerous Pie

Rosalie M, Butter and Drums, Girls and Dangerous Pie

Hey Jeanie, this week I’ve finished both Butter and Drums, Girls, and Dangerous Pie. I like how Butter has a happy ending, because the rest of the book is so dark. I also love how Butter finds his dad listening to his music. It means something to him. When I finished Butter, the Jazz music continued in Drums, Girls and Dangerous Pie. I like the narrator/main character, Steven. He’s extremely relatable for someone going through a crisis. I know that when my grandpa had sepsis, I thought a ton of he same thoughts he did. Jeffrey’s character is the typical little brother, and he’s so cute I cant help but feel bad for him. But I don’t know, maybe it’s because I have a little brother. Steven is a great brother to Jeff, like when he leaves school for him, chose Jeffery over his concert, and played with him every night. I can’t wait to hear your thoughts about what you’re reading,,
