Legend, Craig C. final

Legend, Craig C. final

I just finished Legend by Marie Lu. I thought it was the best book ever! Marie Lu really does a good job in explaining the characters and their feelings. It made me feel like I was in the book. The descriptions were superb, and easy to understand. This is the best dystopian novel by far. The one thing I didn’t understand in this book was how old they were. Now that I’m interested in this novel I ,think I might read the books that come after it.

The end was very suspenseful and I couldn’t put it down. I was shocked that john went back to the execution yard to save Day. I’m happy that they were able to escape safely from Los Angeles. I really loved this book and I was sad when it ended. I can’t wait to read the next books.

  1. Hi Craig,

Now I understand why you couldn’t put this book down! It is very descriptive as you said and it does feel like I am there with the characters. I think I like Legend more than The Hunger Games series. I am barely getting started with this book but I could see that I am going to read the next two books in these series as well. I am in the part where Day wakes up and finds that he is is in bed after safely escaping the hospital. I don’t think Day killed Metias but I feel that someone else killed him. I still haven’t read too far to know who committed the crime but I infer that the person that killed Metias did it so he wouldn’t reveal important information to his sister and others. I have so many questions about the plague, on Metias’s murderer true identity, the weird mark in Day’s family door, and many more but I will keep on reading to find out!
