MAKE #3: PLAYLIST OF MY LIFE

For this make cycle I chose to create a playlist of my life! The book I chose to read was “Out of my Mind”. The story is about a young girl named Melody who has cerebral palsy. Her disability leaves Melody in a wheelchair and unable to speak. Before Melody got her medi-talker she was unable to communicate with the outside world. Although she couldn’t tell her mother she loved country and hated jazz, all these thoughts were trapped in her mind. This inspired me to create a playlist to my life. From these song choices I can respond to phrases, express my feelings or simply say “You’re a jerk”. I feel that music is an outlet and really is a way of expressing yourself to the outside world!
