I have learned the many different spins there are on each fairy tale. What makes a poem depend on who is asked? As with poems “not everyone will have the same description of what a comic book is”. I learned ways to encourage children to read and reading fast does not make someone a good reader, yet reading with comprehension. From what I learned I can have my students start reviewing books because “is a way to help recommend books”. I learned the importance of reading a variety of books. Even if I do not enough a certain book reading it will help me recommend it to a student that is interested in that genre. If I choose to have my class read Divergent then “they could do short writes about how they would have the government/society if it were up to them. Do they think this type of society could last in today’s world”? During this semester I have learned how to create a wix website that now includes useful teaching resources.

After reading the book Feed my group talked about technology and how the books message is that technology is running our world. The author uses language that is not sophisticated to show evidence that because of the feed everyone is stupid and doesn’t have to learn. I also think it is the fear of allowing corporations to taken over the school systems, as is done in Feed. In the book everyone gets liaisons and eventually becomes bald. The characters don’t realize that their feeds and the degrading world are the cause. I think this is illustrating their blindness to what is happening to the world around them. In one part of the book the forest is cut down to build an oxygen factory, which is ridiculous because trees produce oxygen. People are becoming so dumb that they are further destroying their planet.

Through their feeds businesses and corporations can target them. Everywhere they go they are targeted for the new thing they should buy. Their feed creates a profile of what they want. This is already beginning to happen today just not so extreme. If I buy something on Amazon then I get emails based on what I bought of other things I might like.

1. Perhaps he is describing a farm because of the chickens. It is in the morning when there is still dew. Children probably live there if there is a red wheel barrow. I think he cares about what he sees. It might make him happy if so much depends upon it.
