Hi Jaurele,

Since I couldnt make an artifact with you at Chico State :(… I made one at home. I  finished all 3 of my books so I started reading a book called This Star Wont Go Out. Here is a music playlist I made for the book. http://8tracks.com/averysa/this-star-wont-go-out-1

I know I am not supposed to blog about a book if I haven’t reads a certain amount of pages, but with this book… How could I resist?

I am currently on page 114 and its already got my attention span. If you are completely clueless about this book, then here is what it is about: This book is about a girl. Her name is Esther Grace Earl. And yes, “Grace” as in Hazel Grace from tfios. Hazel is based on a real girl named Esther. She was a young teen who was diagnosed with Thyroid Cancer with normally 90 percent survival rate, but she was that 10 percent. This book isnt a sappy cancer story like tfios, even though it does make me teary eyed. It is a collection of diary entries, notes from parents doctors and an intro by John Green.

I really recommend this book because it gives you a totally different and new perspective on tfios. I love it already and will for sure be reading this many more times in my life!

Avery S’s Artifact

Avery S’s Artifact

My artifact was for Drums, Girls and Dangerous Pie. Lauryn and I decided to make our own take on a dangerous pie, but  edible! This project was really fun and I enjoyed it a lot. The purpose of this artifact was to show the dangerous pie the book but now edible and in real life. It was so cool to me and hope to do more projects like this.

Drums, Girls and Dangerous Pie. Finished!

Drums, Girls and Dangerous Pie. Finished!

Hi Jaurele,

I finished Drums, Girls and Dangerous Pie and it was such a great book! I wish I could just sum up the whole book, but I would give everything away. It was exactly what I thought it would be and more. It was written so well and it was an overall great book. Every time I stopped reading this book it left me hanging, laughing or crying.

IF YOU HAVEN’T FINISHED DON’T READ ON.

This book was a great mix of emotions, and feelings. I loved how it showed a real situation, and brotherhood. Steven was so nice to Jeff and he always stuck up for him. Even though this book was one of my all time favorites, I really hated it at the same time. The ending (not going to tell you what happened) was so sad but It had a huge BANG! and it was such a shock. Just kidding, I think most people suspected the kiss. But I was so happy it happened. I’m so happy I read this book, and I think im reading Eleanor and Park next and I’m so excited for that!
